1. Hit a really nice horse trifecta only to realize my book has a 50 dollar max payouts on gimmacks.
2. Last night lost a three game parlay on san diego -2.5. no need to even go farther on how that turned out.
3. Decided to go all in on mardy fish in tennis early this morning. Mardy wins first game and decides his stomach doesnt feel good so he calls it quits up 1-0 first set. I log in to see my book has a one serve policy so i lose.
4. Play the 10am tournment and get rivered 2 hands in a row to bubble out 11th.
5. play a 2 game soccer parlay, win first game and second game i have under 2.5. I look at the 84 minute mark and its 1-0 and i am counting it as a win. I look back and see final 2-1.
6.Go to the palm beach kennel club tonight. Play 1-2 nl start at 100 bucks. I build my stack to 450. Two people on my table have more then me. I get pocket aces. I raise 16 bucks. I get a reraise by jackie chan to my left who has been raising all night to 40. The lady next to him calls. Everyone else folds. I push all in. He calls, she calls. Both have pocket 10's. Flop comes heart,heart,heart. turn is a heart and river is a heart. I look down at 2 black aces. The guy has the ten of hearts and takes all 450 of my stack.
7. Tried to play a pick 4 at the kennel club. The machine freezes on me and i have to wait 15 minutes for someone come fix my machine. I dont get my bet off and it cost me a 177 dollar pick 4.

But all in all, I am still smiling and having fun through this shit. The good thing about these bad days is they don't last forever. And lets be honest it could always be worse, I could be ttwarrior.

My own important rules for gambling:

#1. Money management / Bankroll management is extremely important. Use a money management system and stick with it religiously. Give yourself a limit per week and know when to quit. You should be using 1% to 10% of your bankroll for each bet.

#2 Bet because you can win. Never bet for the action or just because it's your favorite team. Be selective. Pick your spots and wait for the right opportunity.

#3. Pay attention to the lines all the way to the end of the week, try to make profit off the line. Always shop for the best line, Always! You should have an account in multiple books.

#4. Know that you are making profits off of other gamblers, you are not making profit off of the casinos and line makers. That's why they adjust the lines and value accordingly.

#5. Stay emotionless all the time. Bet like a robot. There's no place for emotions in this profession.
