    This will go down as being one of the, if not THE greatest Cinderella story seasons not only in Baseball History, but in the History of organized sports.

    This run was absolutely astronomically improbable, and ridiculously enjoyable to those of us who rode this thing the whole way. I've had friends and family coming to me all night telling me that I was one of the few holding out hope when the Braves had that crazy lead, and I told people that this squad had the potential to make a run, we just needed to show our support and see what happens.

    I absolutely loved how Tony said during the championship crowning ceremony that the entire thing may have been sparked by a simple Cards/Cubs game where we were losing 1-0 at Busch, and in a bad, downtrodden game, the crowd somehow found the will to basically cheer the team to a comeback victory and helped reignite that spark that they used to carry them to one of the most unheard of stretches in sports history.

    God damn it feels good to be a Cardinal fan tonight.
