    That just makes it worse.

    When your favorite team doesn't win much and gets this close, the pain is a lot more real and lasting. If you like the Yankees or Lakers or whoever, you know there will more than likely be other opportunities. If your team is the Rangers, you realize this might be it given the franchise's track record -- the patience and the long-standing misery is what amplifies it.

    put some money on cards tomorrow. if your tean wins, then it was prob worth the loss money on the squirrels, if your team loses, at least you got some bread out of it to make up for the misery. thats what i always do when my team is in it.

I ain't gonna lie gentlemen I didn't watch anything past the Hamilton 2 run homer in extras....thought it was a done deal and that was that..... standing outside enjoying the cool weather and phone starts going off with angry texts from my brother in law in Houston about the red birds being lucky a'holes Can't believe I missed that.

    sorry opie. look at this way atleast your team made it to the world series..... what if you were a pittsburgh pirates fan or toronto blue jays fan ? those teams don't even have a shot to make it to the world series b/c they don't have owners who spend money like the Rangers... hell i wish my city just had a major league baseball team.


    here is my advice put like 10,000 bucks on the Cardinals ML tonight and that way you will be happy either way. It sounds like to me you would gladly lose 10,000 to have your Rangers win the championship. But if they lose you will still have 10,000 profit.
