    Had a lot of similar bets riding on OU tonight, would hedged the Texans game with it. I felt strong about the other 4 games.

    AJ Feely vs Dallas D
    Ponder vs Packers D
    Gabbert vs Ravens D
    Painter vs NO D.

    I don't like the chances of those QB's Sunday Morning/Monday Night.

    with one pending tomorrow (could've been easily hedged) this was all winners except oklahoma. but that happens when you do a parlay of 19, easy to say later to take out the big moneylines like that but they really aren't adding much to the payout anyway at -8000

    Anyhow, the NFL plays this week were rather easy.

    As far as how I would have hedged the Ravens game? Easy, Jags will be down by double figures by halftime, just put x amount of $$$ for them to win straight up to get 300.

    that was a rough beat....its really sickening when one of the biggest favs loses..this used to happen to me when i would parlay a bunch of tennis matchups, it seemed like the biggest fav would cost me the bet quite often...now i wont ever throw anything over -600 or so in the bet, no matter how good it looks, its been working...perhaps you should consider a cut off ML point and put a little extra cash on the wager to make up for it.. cause the really heavy chalk doesnt add much its just an unnecessary risk.

    Great Dane... Parlays were made for 1 or 2 losses. It's not easy. That's the whole point and intentions of a parlay... to excite you. I don't know how long you've been doing sports wagering for??? But... I would stay away from parlays or teasers. It just F's with your mind. You could of laid $300 on anything and got back some sort of return. There will be more upsets before college football season is done... There's always 1 or 2 major Top 25 losses each week (typically in any season). There is some weird sh#$ going on in the NFL and NCAA football where favorites are covering left and right... this trend will stop soon enough.

    I get what you're saying, and agree with it. Especially about these favored teams covering. I'm entering my third year in this, first year with a bank roll of over a $100 or more, and this was my second attempt of making a parlay of this magnitude. My thinking is that this is the closest thing I can do in terms of cashing in on a latto ticket, or something like that. I made smaller parlays with some of those teams, so I didn't have a complete loss this week.

    There's only about 6 weeks of college football left, which means I have 6 weeks to hit one of these...and then try to hit it again. I'm attempting to hit one of these bad boys and gain a large payout, but my goal right now is really to just have a chance to hit something big, all I want is a chance.

    It might be fool's gold or blind luck, but I think the risk is worth the potential result.

    btw I learned a valuable lesson not to put anything with -2000+ plus or higher in my ticket.
