i like em with the points..i think they got a shot outright but +155 isnt worth it..but 4 points and maybe 4.5 by kickoff at home against a team that doesnt score i def like.

The spread bet isn't bad simply b/c this could be an ugly game, much like PSU played at Indiana and at Temple, But PSU knows how to win, and Northwestern knows how to lose, so making a ML bet is silly. If PSU needs a defensive stop at the end, they'll get it. If they need a score at the end, they'll get that too.

If a 50/50 debate was not the goal, you'd see lines LEAP to lopsided action one way, would you not? Take Houston -22 vs. Marshall, now sitting around 23.5....if 90% of action sits on HOU, why not make the line -27? -30? And I don't wanna hear public/sharp perception....there are both on BOTH sides in EVERY GAME PLAYED.

It's not the 50/50 split in number of bets. It's as close to even as they can get with the money on both sides.

Very interesting first half.

I think the problem for NW is that PSU's defense played about as bad as they possibly could, yet they are still up 27-24 going into the 2nd half.

Now, both defenses obviously struggled, but PSU doesn't run any tricks, they just smash the football down NW's throat and then pass off of that success in the running game.

PSU's defense got gashed by NW in the first half last year too, and then their defense made adjustments and Northwestern's gimmick-filled offense was shut down in the 2nd half. One would assume that would happen in the 2nd half as well, at least a little bit.

BOL to anyone on this play. Even though PSU -4 looks pretty decent right now, I laid off and just put PSU in my super teaser, so I have them +9.

Most of the public will probably be all over that since PSU's defense pretty much dominated them last year after being lit up in the first half.

It'll be interesting. As long as PSU covers my +9 for the game, I'm content to lay off the 2nd half play.

PSU alum here, I've watched every Penn State game since 2004 when I went there, yes.....our offense has been horrible this year but Northwestern's defense is pretty soft and our defense is decent. I'm sure Persa will put up some points but I don't think it will be enough to cover, I would stay away from this bet. It will probably be a close game at the half but I expect PSU to pull away in the 2nd half.

I'd bet you on this game t-wizzle but since you're not SBR Pro, you wouldn't be able to transfer me the points if you lost. I think non SBR Pro's can only transfer like 2 points a day or something like that.
