49ers expose the lions
Win outright tomm , this whole Detroit hype is just that hype .. all of the comebacks have come from defensive TDs in the last minutes of the game. 49ers can run right through them detroit will be exposed tomm hands down ill take the niners and the points.

I think the Lions will expose the 49ers, their 4-1 start is more surprising than the Lions 5-0 start

Seems like I have heard this all before
i think the 49ers will make it a good game but when you have insurance like calvin johnson at home in the dome, detroit should pull away late... sf should be able to run the ball and that will keep stafford and company off the field... on the other side of the ball, detroit will have trouble running the ball on sf so that puts the load on stafford... with his receivers vs the 49ers db's, he should be able to move the ball enuff to cover 4... GL!!!

49ers will not expose anyone, but i have them to cover +4. should be a great game. they got two big plays in the monday night game that they probably won't get tomorrow. maybe a long johnson td, but the best run was an anomaly. if i had to pick a time for them to come down to earth, it would be this game against the niners.

Remember, if the Lions struggle to run, they could use the screen pass to offset that. Best could get his big plays off the screens.
I'm not betting this game, but I don't see the Lions losing this one.
49ers are very similar to the Bears...
They win ugly, have great MLB's, and make some big special teams plays...
It's gonna be a repeat of last week... The Niners are going to have to run the ball better than the Bears to have a shot... If they don't, the crowd noise and pass rush will eventually get them...

Not sure who will win, but SF +4 looks like a good bet because more then likely it will be a close game.
im a 49 er fan and im still in shock by their record..should be a good game to watch and make a play on the 2nd half baased on what you see..no point getting involved early cause it could go either way.

How about the the west coast team travelling east for the 1pm start? Will that be a factor? It did not seem to matter last week in the Sea/NYG game.
I have personally said that about SF in a previous post, but they've proven me wrong, twice, this season. I did have them over @CIN (SF 13 CIN 8), and since they practiced in Youngstown, OH for @PHL the following week (the line didn't post 'til Thurs., due to M. Vick's hand issue) I shop early for value and missed out on SF +8'. No matter this time, either IMHO.
I love the over. On Detroit alone Megatron scores two Tds today and Pettigrew scores another. For The niners Gore gets two and Davis one. Throw in a couple Fgs and $$$.
the 49ers are the ones who are going to get exposed. the lions have a wonderful quarterback, solid running backs/playmakers, pro bowl wr, good tight end, veteran wr2, and good offensive line, all to complement a decent defense.
the 49ers have wide receivers, a running back, and a decent defense, but they have NO QUARTERBACK. and until they get one, they will never be a real team.

49ers +3 -120 for the 1st half sounds good. Lions don't like playing until the 2nd half so I think push at worst.

Lions probably still win this one being in the Dome but they would get crushed in San Fran. Can't wait.

Lions....big.
Jahved Best was a great college player. He needs to get in the weight room if he wants to transition his skills to the adult game.
San Fran is gone run the ball, play good special teams and try to play mistake free football. If Alex Smith can make some plays in the passing game they have a shot at winning. Lions want have a lot of success running the ball but Stafford should be able to carve up the San Fran pass defense. As long as the Lions don't turn the ball over they should win.
if alex smith can complete some passes, the 49ers should win this game. the problem is- hes not that good at completing passes. this year is probably alex smith's last chance. Nobody would want him to start for their team other than maybe the jaguars or the colts. hes smart- he is figuring this out.
if he cant get it done with these receivers- then he cant get it done.
