    Another picture that shows Bartman is reaching in the field of play. To be honest, if this was a road game for the Cubs, they probably would have called fan interference. Alou was going to make the catch. He guarantees it, and it is pretty obvious the ball was falling right into his glove without Bartman's bitch hand hitting it.

    Poor guy? Maybe you should re-read my first post. He could've made out with seven figures in cash and perks out of this. Don't underestimate how lucrative fame is.

    Seeing closeups on "Catching Hell" of the play and being given the rule on fan interference leads me to conclude that the play should've been ruled an out, technically speaking since the ball fell just slightly in front of the invisible plain running up from the wall, behind which the fans had legal access to. Alou could've as easily yelled at the ump.
