    I need some help understanding baseball

    Blue Jays vs CWS

    Can someone explain to me why a pitcher (C.Sale) would intentionally walk someone to load all bases and then "donate" 2 runs to TBJ by walking two more guys (unintentionally ??? this time) ... does he have money on the other team to win? or is he that bad?

    This looks like a soccer player trying as many time as posible to score as many own-goals as posible.

    The pitcher was just in, fresh, and he shoots 8 balls (not counting the first 4 intent balls) and only 1 strike ...

    Tha fact that a NYY pitcher gave 2 runs by hitting two batters when bases were loaded makes me wonder how many baseball players actually know how to play the game (or if they know the rules)

    BTW, it also seems that managers have some problems with bad timing ... both TBJ's and NYY's pitchers were just sent-in in the last innings of the game (TBJ's in 9th and NYY's in the 8th) with previous pitchers doing just fine ...

    After this two games, it seems to me that a baseball game it is won by the team who makes less mistakes, not by the one that plays better
