    Ruths Chris in Vegas???

Talk about a square move. Ruths Chris is great when you are in your home town and you have family from small town flying in and you want to take them somewhere nice to eat and not break your bankroll. They do have good steak.

BUT In Vegas though? Dozens of places with better steaks than Ruths. I mean c'mon, it's fukkin VEGAS!!!

that changes the post I made how?

If you were betting into lines at the Wynn then you arent half as sharp as you claim you are, and if fezzik was there, which he probably was (inhis bunny slippers no doubt) then he isnt half as smart as he claims to be either.

Guys who preach 'the market' or getting the 'best' line then sitting in a book with only one set of lines (and not even close to the best) and betting into them is either a hypocrite, a pretender, a wannabe, or a degenerate.

It shouldnt matter if you have to bet lines in an outhouse as long as you can see where the best numbers are and have the ability to get to them in a hurry, be it on a screen or downtown walking around (or with a friend(s) and splitting up the joints).

Guys who constantly talk about 'big' name hotels on the Strip or brag about where they are generally arent interested in actually making money, theyre more interested in trying to impress people or trying to make their lives more glamorous than what it really is. Any fool can walk into any sportsbook on the strip and sit down, guys with a clue arent there and are where they can make the most money in the easiest way.

But one thing is for sure the scraps in the strip dumpsters are better than the ones downtown, so you dumpster divers have that advantage. But how do you decide? You flip a coin or take turns?

I live 2500 miles from vegas. Go once or twice a year. When i do go its 5 star on the strip. No interest in staying downtown. If i leave vegas even im happy. Last time i went i got lucky and left up money. If you live in cali or somewhere else on the west coast and go 5-10 times a year then i can see cheaping it up and all that sh1t that wanti is talkin about. Not going just to bet the games. I can do that from my living room. Its a vaca.

yeah i get it, but you go to the strip when you have your wife or girlfriend with you, not if you want to gamble. Or go downtown make some bets then go watch it somewhere on the strip.

I had a house there for almost 10 years that I lived in for about 2 years and went to just about every weekend when I moved to california. So maybe i am a little jaded.

But if youre hanging out with locals they really shouldnt be taking you to the strip, especially if youre gambling on sports.

I've eaten there twice Brock. First time I swore I would never go back. Got suckered into going again with the in-laws. I needed a ginsu both times to cut through the jerky they served up. Waiter said "do you need me how to teach you to use that knife?" I says "no you nees to teach that cook how to cook a steak." He puffed up and walked away. Brock let me take you to a real steakhouse
