Motorola (mmi) is up 57% today. Mentioned it recently a few times as a buy here.
Still a great bargain buy for Google. Makes sense.
I thought my stock ticker was broken again.

It's Motorola Mobility, which was a small portion of Motorola when they split. Motorola Solutions is a separate company.

Google is mainly interested in the patents of Motorola...to protect themselves in the future.
