    What's your biggest loss on 1 bet??

    I think my biggest loss was something equivalent to $1000 but i am also very resonable when making my stakes.. I am only 21 so i don't have the money to make big wagers..¨

    I imagine some of you guys are worse off than me?

    Was actually well within my financial limits at that point... was only betting on average about 3k per game and in a 2 week span during the early rounds of NCAAB tourney one year, made $36k then $18k the following week... so had a 2 week stretch betting around 3k per game that made around $55k.... therefore made 2 big $10k bets (max limit for my account) and split them 1-1 so ended up paying the juice, $1k.

    As for what are peanuts for me now, I usually bet about $250 per game and if there is something I really like I might throw $500 but usually don't go anything bigger than that... just don't have the guts like when I was younger or some might call it I got wiser.. Either way I'm a pussy now just betting small amounts and enjoying the games.

    A little over 4K on the Seahawks. It was a Monday night game and was a hedge for a bunch of parlay cards - so it was far from a complete loss.

    $2200 on Duke a few years ago against UNC. Sheldon Williams had two free throws at the end that could have pushed or won the bet for me. He missed both.

    700 bucks twice this on the yanks, i started with like 100 bucks made it up 700+ish and started to break even or lose a couple bucks every here and there so i went all in both times. They lost to the As in burnett's start and to mets in extras

    Once lost 1200 on a live bet. Wyoming vs. UCLA Las Vegas Bowl Dec 2004. UCLA had game won until this guy muffed the punt. Then wyoming came back. Wind was blowing like 50 mph that night. Anyone remember that game?

    I must be a lightweight. I never bet more than $100 units, and never more than 1.3 units on a single game. Only then in baseball. I have been swept in baseball and lost 330 on a series a few times. But I also win a lot of +180 games during the year too.

    Any more than that and the betting takes over for the game. Not worth it to me.
