Has anyone taken like $150 and Martingaled it at a live casino (just for giggles)?
I'm thinking about taking two bills to my local brick and mortor casino, and playing roulette for $5. just for shits n giggles
I was just going to martingale up to $200, so what's that...6 losses in a row before I bust.
I want to see how much I can win before it will go bankrupt? I'm thinking at the very least you'll get to sit there for an hour
anyone tried this in a real casino?

I don't like the Martingale System, just a recipe to go broke IMO. Its been around for awhile and if it was a full proof plan to consistent winning, casinos wouldn't allow it. I would just flat bet for a one hour sitting and see if you grinded out a profit or not.

I mean even at 5 dollars, 3 or 4 wins get you a pretty decent lunch. 20 wins which is what 35 minutes? and you're looking at a nice crisp 100 dollar bill.
I know in the long run this fails but I'm thinking it might be worth it to try and win 100 dollars it doesn't seem all that unrealistic

I would wait for like 3 reds and then start your system and when you make $5 each session do same thing again waiting for 3 reds before you start.
jem, the key to this system(and with anything like this, you need big limits and enough cash) is to allow for the wheel to spin 6-8 times before it lands on a row or box of 12...then begin martingaling the box that hasnt been hit...(for ex. box 1-12, row 1 down to 34) it pays 2-1... and 200 aint enough...start with 2k and every spin doesnt have to be a double to win money...you can ration it a bit ... the goal is to make it 10 spins or so...at least that was always mine and had bigger limits and more than 2k
fwiw, the more tables to watch the action, the better...you will sit at the casino all day if you just have 1 or 2 wheels to watch

If your talking about roulette, you'll see either color hit 7-8-9 times in a row often. You'll see a color hit 6 times in a row a couple of times in an hour. Martingale system is cool if you have a huge bank roll and a casino table with no limits.
I takeded 50 bucks and did it, won on the second spin.
$5+10+20+40+80+160=$315...$200 would only give you 5 losses in a row.
I'm going to taked enough bankroll to support 6 losses, and just randomly play red or black. see if I can make it a quick 100 dollars.
if not I had fun, hopefully it lasts at least an hour
anyone think I'll go bankrupt before 20 wins?

Took 150 to the roulette table.
Martingale for 10 bucks a spin....But I'd sit out for 2 rolls until 2 colors popped up consecutive. Then place the 10 on the other color. Most I got up to was the 3rd bet. Wasn't sweating it 1 bit.
I checked the history (last 15 spins on the table) and none had over 4 in a row of 1 color, that was on 4 tables.
Turned 150 into 230 in less than a hour.
Went to play poker and lost 100 on 3rd hand.
Went back to roulette for a bit and won another 50, and walked outta the joint.

Obviously it's not guaranteed, but I've never went bust taking 150 to the roulette table (only been about 7 times, don't care a bunch for casinos). I usually wait for 2-3 spins to hit in a row before I bet, and it depends on the Minimum on the table. My time will come and I know that. But playing 150 on a 5 dollar minimum table after 3 spins you'd have to have 8 spins to bust your 150....
But a great way to piss away some hours on a shitty day.

I do this every day online. Basically wait it out till you see a pattern you can attack. Like the last 8 of 10 numbers was Red Then pounce on Black.
Same odds for the next ball....
Online isn't the best....I've taken the SBR casino for quite a bit, but also happened to lose them all back right away.

Nobody is debating this. But` money can be made. Id say play up to a point or profit x or Ill lose x before stopping. The longer you stay at the table the bigger the chance of you getting shited on.
Back when I was 18, I went to an Indian Casino. They had 1 dollar blackjack. I went with 40 dollars. I was able to get up to 110. I wanted to make it to 120...well, I lost it all. I think it was a 8 or 9 game losing streak. Lost it all.

Yeah exactly. I used martingale on roulette online when I would wanna make some quick cash. It's good for the short term but don't expect to get rich using this every day....you will lose.
yes there's no chance in the world I would do this at an online casino.

True story. It went red 42 times in a row at my casino. The streak busted every roulette player and 90% of BJ player there.
I walked in when it 12 already. A little drunk.
I played my theory, to get rich when on a long streak is running.
$5 same color, $ 5 on the repeat # and $1 green.
I hit the same number a few time.
But the streak of reds was 42 in a row till it ended.
Funny thing was it went one black and then casino went empty.

ive seen a roulette wheel in a casino read black 14 times in a row and ive also seen one hit 29 4 times in a row. this is of course an anomaly.
i have done this quite a few times, mostly on paigow poker - start at $20 then if i lose 3 in a row go $40, $80, $120 and quit.
that way it caps at $300.
same strategy would apply to roulette, if you don't cap the "system" you can eventually go really broke.
martingale is a meaningless system, i only do that for shits and giggles - in the long run (a million spins/deals/etc) you are going to be exactly where you would be with the same average bet size unless you are counting cards in blackjack.
I am not a casino gambler however the gambler in general i did my home work years ago . And i came up with a conclusion that roulette can't be beaten . Lifetime i maybe placed 5-6 bets on the wheal and it was just for fun .

36 ,48 ,12,50 , 26,72 , 22 the math is the same ,chances of winning or going bust adjusted by the #'s and a odds (36 to 1 , 48 to 1 , 12 to 1, 50 to 1 and so on ) The odd thing the sum (from 1 to 36) is 666
