Does anyone else notice the inconsistency of umpires on mlb gamecast?

Its fukkin deranged. Balls clearly right down the middle of the plate just called a ball. Ive noticed more and more of it lately. If you watch pitch by pitch on mlb.com Im sure some of you have noticed it as well.

How long is human error going to remain part of the game? Makes no sense when we clearly have the technological capability to get rid of these bullshit mistakes...

I know what you mean. But at the same time, I don't know how accurate the location really is. I've tried watching a game on TV and then looked to see where mlb has the pitch and it's not always dead on. And if you go to espn and look there, the placement of some pitches is different than on mlb.

Gamecast sucks, watch a game on TV while watching gamecast the location is nowhere close sometimes, pitch a foot off the plate and gamecast will have it as a strike, its not the umpires that are way off its gamecast

But I know from past experiences as I'm sitting there watching on gamecast and I have the under on a game and a pitch is down the middle and it's a ball, I do get slightly annoyed depending on how much money I have on that bet.

Ive done the same thing, comparing the two, the gamecast seems to be pretty dead on accurate.

Although not perfect, MLB umps are better than NBA refs for sure imho.

I think replays in certain situations would be great though.

Def could use replays but not necessarily on balls/strikes. Need it more on the bases because there have been calls which have clearly been wrong that have affected the game. If a player is clearly out at home, but is called safe, that impacts the game way more than one pitch that was clearly a strike that was called a ball.

Just happened on the first pitch to Billy Butler

ball was in the zone and called a ball

Im not watching the game on tv but I would guess it hit the corner

MLB strike zones are whack and inconsistent
