Reasons why you might not renew SBR Pro status

Unless your already have money in a sponsored sportsbook, going pro has greatly loss it's worth.

1)No more Sportsbook cash or freeplay. A huge no no, since we are here to gamble at sportsbook to begin with.

2)SBR trivia's are way too hard now, making it an irrelevant perk of being a pro.

3)Probably won't be any NFL or NBA this season, urge to gamble won't be as great if that happens.

4)Off shore books don't seem safe anymore.

Looks like once my contract expires, I will only re-up if Beat the Prick shows it's head again this year. Good to see Intertops is one of the sponsored book for now.

now that i understand that all it takes is $200 in the same book you originally went pro with, i can't help but to think whenever i read these 'will you or won't you keep Pro' threads that people apparently aren't very good at sports betting.

If you still have $200 in the same account, I don't see why you wouldn't

I basically have no reason why I Wouldn't basically all of the sponsors are my main sports books. And really I will have 200 dollars in it if I really wanted too, either by building it up slowly from a small deposit or just going ahead and putting it all in at once.

1> I dont care about betpoints

    2> Don't play in contests

3> Not interested in buying anything in sbr store

Whats the point of being a PRO?....just for status?

I could see if your balance is less then $200 at your sign up book. But if you don't renew with having $200+ in your sign up book, then I don't know what to think.

Yeah I haven't bought anything yet or ever played in the contests. I do like the trivia though. Not sure why. I could just go to a game site or even bet365 and gamble on Millionaire if I wanted to and get my fill. But for some reason every time the SBR trivia pops up I get happy.

I just like blowing away my points on stupid parlays or in the casino. Great to get your casino cravings fulfilled with points than real money!

I like Pro Status. My only issue is the trouble of renewing it. My book was BP and they removed them from the site and I pulled money from them when they had problems. I used to like Trivia, but I really won't care about it when I have to roll it over in the casino.

I agree with Mexican here. I like trivia but playing in the casino with that would be a stretch. I would rather have them let you use that in the sports book and the race book also. That would be the best case here.

As far as being a pro I think that any sponsor that at this site should be enough for you to deposit your $200 into and that is it. I don't mind if they would want us to be with say five of the sponsors either. That wouldn't be a bad idea either. I just would not want to be with some of these books that I sure don't want to be with at all and be forced on to them just to be a pro here. They really need to change this and I think it is a bone headed idea by someone to even consider making members go with these books that you are not even with at all and really don't want the cold calls that you have heard about or other problems that members have had with them. If I was a sponsor and if I found out that they are doing this I would not be happy because that $200 could be with them instead of going to someone else. That will cause them to lose business and that would hurt their bottom line. I am with just a select few books that I really like. If I decide to change then I may go with some of the others that I am not with because I have heard good things but others I have heard bad things about them.

You don't have to roll over the Trivia in the casino. I think I remember reading that from one of the Mods yesterday clearing it up from a person.

Meh, I'll have plenty in Pinny whenever this comes through. I will be renewing.

I'll renew on the off chance that I decide to actually bother to bet points, then make winning bets, then win enough points to buy something nice (at least 4000).

im pretty sure i saw LOU say trivia will not require a rollover

I will remain a pro because i love betting on college football. nfl i could care less about. no sportsbook cash kinda stinks but the prizes are very nice, FOR FREE. and the trivia is not hard.

I second this analysis, blowing points is less painful at the end of the day than blowing cash.

I think being SBR Pro is good but there's something I don't feel comfortable about it. When you give your account ID, then every sportsbook will know your nickname. They can profile you much easier. How you feel about it?
