Shesh, what the heck is wrong with people, risking lives to catch a baseball. Some man last night at the HR derby, hopped on a table and leaned over to catch a HR ball. He nearly fell, but was caught in time by his friend and brother. This is very very concerning to me and I feel all MLB parks should do something immediately, if not beggining next season. They need to quit selling 1st row seat, unless it is field level. Therefore, if a ball is hit and a fan in the first row ( which would be 2nd row under this rule ) can safely reach for the ball and catch it. They need to make it publicly clear with signs, commercials, announcements, and however else, that if anyone goes into the first row and tries to catch a ball is doing it at their own risk. If they fall, no one can be held liable period, as it was due to the falling fans negligance.
