    LOL wow. Good ole Direct TV. They were actually giving away the Sunday NFL ticket to go for free for new Direct TV customers. Coudln't convice the parents to give up cable and go for a dish. They believe a little rain show will knock it out, even though I have tried to explain to them that is just cable company bull shit.

    Its less $ in our pockets, u take away a whole football season your talking less book signup bonuses reload bonuses etc., the problem is football is so big and it would have a huge effect.

    It would probably be the death of many books who depend on football season to make cash especially in these times. For me personally I wouldn't care much maybe I'd thumb through and see what sports the Europeans are doing during US football season.

    Makes no difference at all to me if there's pro football this year or not. I'm not losing any sleep over a group of idiots who can't come to an agreement over how to split $9+ billion. Betting the NHL will be just fine.

    I'd probably bet more on college football, only because I would have more time to study it. I'd spend Sundays watching taped college games and devote all of my NFL time during the week to CFB.
