    who watches golf anymore?

It's become apparent, golf is done. The top golfers have no personality, there isn't a dominant force. For all is said and done Tiger was golf. Whether he played well or not people watched for him, now they just don't care.

I watch it every weekend. People watched golf before Tiger and will watch golf after Tiger.

Tell that to the 30k +people on the grounds at congressional and the people blowing up the phones where I work looking to spend money on limo service to and from the event........ Thing was a blowout and still had hype. Golf does not strive to be some colossal like football but has a huge religious following and as someone whos father runs a junior golf tour part time know that youth are just as involved as in the past if not more than ever. Golf will be around for a long time to come. Boxing and horseracing on the other hand...... Unfortunately as an avid fan of both am disappointed to say their best days may be behind them.

Don't give a fck about golfers personalities. I like to watch quality golf and will continue to regardless if there is a star that appeases the public.

I still watch it but it doesn't have the same appeal w/o Tiger. Watching sports while the all time greatest (or possibly the all time greatest) is competing makes it more enjoyable.

The majors are ok but without Tiger the tour is dead, also lack of American talent is hurting. Tv ratings are down. The regular tourneys are dead with little interest.

Yea ok, there was Jack towards the end. The Shark was entertaining. Few other guys that carried the torch, but with Tiger gone you just feel like you not seeing one of the greatest which makes it way more interesting to watch (for me anyway), Phil isnt phil, that hurts as well. I guess you could call me a casual golf fan (try and play from time to time, not well) and watch when it is important, just doesnt seem like as big a deal to me w/o tiger going for jacks records. No disrespect to the sport i know it tuff as hell, just less watchable w/o tiger and phil at their best.

I watch often, especially Majors. Rory dominated the US Open for 4 days straight. That was great to watch him finish it up today without choking like last time.

It's more fun to play golf than watch golf especially if you are drinking a 6 pack while you play and refill at the back 9.

I watch most tournaments, if I'm not out playing golf that day. Tiger is of no significance to me, or most serious golf fans.

Tiger has done his part for golf in the United States and around the world. It is time for the young guys Fowler, Barnes, Kim and many others to step their game up and carry American golf.

In Golf and older pro can compete with a younger guy because it's not a strenuous sport like other pro sports.

Without Tiger it is going to be tough unless Rory turns out to be a sensation.
