    Mark Cuban is going to get Championship Belts for the Mavs

    Cuban says rings are old school and he's taking it to the next level. How cool would it be if he gives out a WWF style championship belt to each of his players during the 'ring ceremony' next season. I'd bet that that is what he's going to do.

    You guys are gay. I bet even the Mavs players think Cuban is a kook. I swear there must be something in the water in the DFW area. Mind you, I live in TX, but I'm not a fan of the local clubs as I am a transplant. First you have the Rangers with the ridiculous claw and antlers stupidity and now Cuban with championship belts. Buncha f-ing retards down here. Yeah, yeah it's livening things up ... fun to watch the idiots eat it up I guess.     I see what you're saying but i don't agree with you man. A ring is whatever. It's been done 40 times and no matter how much you spend on it, no one is going to pay any attention. A belt though is going to be remembered forever. I mean, imagine being Jason Terry in 10 years doing commentary for TNT games. Instead of wearing his ring, he sits a $50,000 championship belt on the desk in front of him while he does the post game. That's bad, i don't care what anyone says.
    Next year, the Mavs could wear their championship belts during the pregame introductions of a big playoff game. That would send a message and definitely **** with some heads.

    Waco is the worst I have had. Even used ice trays with bottled water just to have decent ice that didn't smell like a river. I drink the tap water in Houston.

    In my opinion, the belts would make them look like clowns and go against the notion everyone has that this is a classy team and organization. The RING is the symbol of a sports Championship. It is traditional, it's what players chase. If they wanted to have some sort of joke belts that was a locker room thing/an inside joke sort of thing, that's one thing and it'd be an inside team thing ... but to get them in an actual ceremony would be the corniest shit I have ever seen. I honestly don't see how the guys who are on the Mavs would think it was cool. The dipshit fans would eat it up of course, but they also think a f-ing claw and antlers are awesome.
