Anyone else think it's funny how genetics, breeding, and type of horse are a huge part of horseracing and always a part of the conversation when its televised, but even hinting or God forbid mentioning that in human athletics gets you fired and your life is ruined? Can't those horseracing commentators understand that a big reason so many of these horses are at the top level is because as little ponies they had it rough and racing was their only way out?
