Mike Miller or Christian Laettner? (for the 30 and above's)
Laettner is one of the greatest college players to ever lace a pair of sneakers. He embarrassed Shaq in college. The ultimate clutch player and winner.
In the pro's--Laettner was what I expected, a better version of Keith Van Horn. Played well early in his career but his stats got watered down as a veteran and looked less appealing.
Mike Miller is a solid NBA player. He's a complimentary player for Miami but has been a 13 point per game scorer for his career. He's come up with some big shots.
Laettner was better in his prime. In every 36 minutes, both players averaged 15.5 points per game
You said it yourself that Laettner is one of the all time greats to ever play in college and made some of the most clutch shots and had some of the most impressive performances in NCAA history to go along with 2 rings. Nobody can ever take that away plus he will be in every highlight reel promoting NCAA basketball forever.
What is Mike Miller gonna hang his hat on....being a decent yet forgettable NBA role player?
