Guys, I am back working at Walmart.
It just was not happening for me with Con ED, I am happy to be back at Walmart, lots of memories at Walmart like me meeting my husband Tom, all my friends that I made, all that good shit.
Don't laugh guys but when you work at Walmart, you are Walmart 4 ever, for life no matter what!
good luck. any job is a good job these days. no matter where you work as long as you are working hard and making an honest living you are successful in life. best of luck.

Glad you enjoy your job Stacy, I know Walmart has been accused in the past of gender discrimination and unfair treatment of its employees, hope they have put that in the past.
You get my respect. I couldn't work at Walmart. I almost always panic when i get in a walmart.
I hate that place
Obviously, WalMart is a pretty good company.You don't become the largest retailer in the World by being poorly run.
Although I personally am more of a Target guy as far as big box discount stores go......WalMart clearly has a business plan that has been wildly successful!

i dont shop at places like walmart
have been there a few times and in all honesty the place makes me sick
the clientele is a lot of bottom of the barrel type of individuals

Of course you do, that is why there are more than 3800 Walmart stores in the US alone. If people actually shopped elsewhere in reality instead of claiming to do so on online forums then at least expansion would come to a halt.

Congrats. Retailers actually arnt that bad. Wallmart actually has one of the best 401k matches for non professional positions. Dollar for dollar up to 6%( Target dollar for dollar up to 5% with immediate vesting). Most people can barely get 50% up to 4%. If you worked at wallmart your whole life and put 30 dollars towards retirement a week youd retire a millionaire.

On a side note. This is the nicest thread ive ever read at SBR. Not but one smart ass or snobby comment in this thread.
That place is the epitome of life in constant motion. It's a constant influx of coming and going from people from all walks of life not just "trashy" people. Plus, every time I walk into a different Walmart in a different city, instead of my local one, I pretend I just stepped into a wormhole taking me back to my hometown branch because they almost all look identical inside.
It's weird but I actually sometimes suffer a mental lapse and actually forget which Walmart I'm in. Now that is trippy.
I love Walmart.
