    Has there been a worse city for sports teams in a calendar year than Minneapolis?

    NHL - Finish towards the bottom of the standings after going on a 8 gm losing streak (FIRED COACH)
    NBA - worst record in the league - an absolute mess
    MLB - Twins are way under performing. The $184 million dollar man is "fatigued", worst record in the league
    NFL - we all know how this turned out. dead last in division, the randy moss disaster, the sexting with Favre, the Dome collapses (FIRED COACH)

    NCAAF - another horrible team, 2nd to last in the Big Ten (FIRED COACH)
    NCAAB - first time in 21 years a Tubby Smith team doesnt win 20 games. Team goes from #7 in the country after pre season tournies..all the way to not even making the NIT
    College Hockey - The perennial "hotbed" of college hockey, losing in the 1st round of hte conference tourney. total dissapointment



    can you name a year where a city has had it worse?

    Tough recent streak for the Twins to be sure to start this season off, but still this franchise is a winner overall, won the AL Central 6 of the last 9 seasons, hold your head up Minn. you still have lots of beautiful lakes.

    well the clear cut top 2 picks, Irving and Williams....

    but the Wolves have this Rubio thing going on, and our only decent player plays D Williams position (KLove)
    so I dont know what they are going to do
