Is Lebron the biggest choke artist

I have never once seen this guy hit a big shot when the game is on the line.

    Got a source for that?

I know he was 5 of 9 in playoff game winning/tying shots before this year, but obviously just game winning baskets and including regular season the numbers might be different.

I've heard time an time again how the Heat are the worst clutch team in the NBA. Chris Broussard said it today on ESPN. Lebron has been trusted with the game winning shot a bunch of times and he's only been able to hit 1

what I dont understand is...if youre built like lebron, why do you even have to settle for a jump shoot or a weak floater?

dude is a mack truck, just barrel your way to the rim....dont charge anyone, but the dude is huge and athletic, he can create contact and finish through it.

All I know is, when he does make a game-winner, ESPN will jump on his nuts again.

who remembers when lebron scored like 30 straight points in the 4th and OT against detriot in the playoffs a few years ago?

that was easily one of the most clutch performances ever.

Apparently the Bulls are one of the most clutch teams late in the 4th quarter and the Heat are one of the least clutch teams.

    check this out

In the final 5 mins of the 4th quarter, the Heat have been outscored by 32 pts this season (-32). Bulls? +162.
    FYI: PHI -47, ATL -35, MIA -32, LAL -29, SAS -26, BOS -6, POR +20, OKC +21, MEM +28, NOH +33, ORL +58, DAL +63, DEN +79, CHI +162 (!!!).
    In tight games (w/in 3 pts, <5m left)PHI -58 ORL -31 MIA -27 MEM -9 ATL -5 POR+4 LA +7 SA +9, DEN+25 BOS +42 OK +53 NO +59 CHI +85 DAL +96

Not hating at all. I am asking a question and ive only had one answer which was the Orlando game. For that one game where he made that shot he has 20 others. Remember that in Cleveland he was the man, so he got the ball on every single late game moment.

He is only 26 but so is Melo who statistically is the best closer in the game already.

all this talk about who gets the last shot is overated..It should be the guy that is open..not lebron because he is lebron..if eddie house is open then he should take it just the same

    choke artist?

sure..the only thing lebron will be choking is the nba championship trophy over his head while you knuckleheads choke your wee wees

but nobody is ever open because the Heat goes ISO in such situations. Nobody moves well without the ball on that team, they all just give it to lebron or wade and they go iso

    its ridiculous

Didn't Wade get the ball on the previous play and miss the jumper? That would've put them up 3, and the Heat would've defended the 3 much better... who knows how it would've played out. Tough to put all the blame on Lebron

Lebron is better in the clutch than anyone in the league and is above average in game winning shots (barely). You do realize Wade hasn't hit any this year either right? Don't let confirmation bias cloud your judgment.

This stuff gets boring. Why do people have to open a topic every time he misses or hits. it is all about definition. One takes game winning shots. Another person takes the last two minutes or maybe even the last quarter.

Is someone clutch when they have missed the last 10 straight FG attempts and hits the game winning shot? For me players like lebron should perform all the minutes they play not only the final minutes
