    Rory Mcllroy

What a day of golf on the one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. I wonder if Rory continues to play as much on the european tour if he wins this, this is an incredible show he put on today.

I will be pulling for him tomorrow. It's good to see the young kids doing good this weekend. Tiger acts like a kid after every bad shot he took today. He needs to learn to enjoy the game.

I really like him alot, I wish we could see him more on the american tour. There are no american players right now in the top 7 at the masters. In tennis there are 0 americans in the top 10 in the womens game and mens game. Great time to be european to see all this talent on european tour in golf.

I think Rory wants to stay in Europe to be near his girlfriend in Ireland.

I really like the way he handled the pressure today

People who actually watch golf care. I have been following Rory for years, I can't wait to see him win tomorrow.

It's amazing the sad state of american tennis and golf. There are no Americans in the top 10 in wta or atp, serena should fall out of the top 10 soon. In golf , of the top 7 at the masters starting off today, none are Americans.

For a 21 year old European tour player to come over and and maybe win at the most prestigious golf course in the world and one of the hardest to win at, says a great deal about European golf. A really impressive showing by the Europeans.

It should be a great day

What's sad is that a single country dominated an entire continent for so long. The whole world really. I don't see how it's sad just because the Europeans are getting better at golf and tennis. The US is still the best country, maybe just not better when compared to a whole CONTINENT.

    Who cares about tennis?

The emergence of golf around the world speaks to how the world has become a smaller place with the Internet and tv. All these kids are talking about watching Tiger in '97. These guys are from other places but are influenced heavily by American golf.

You could also argue that some Euro folders have an edge because they learn the game in adverse conditions.

Rory laps the field today. All these older Irish golfers are talking about him like he's made for this moment for a reason.

Thank you. No idea what that means, but thank you.

Rory was pathetic. What a disgrace.

I felt real bad for the Aussie native. I'm sure Shari didn't like to see him shit on himself on the back nine.
