    If it's the first game of a series, check mlb.com about an hour before game time.

    Once a series starts, the umps rotate clockwise so the fist base umpire the previous game gets home plate.

    I figured as much with that. He's part of Hirschbeck's crew. Just thought there might be a place that oddsmakers go for quicker access. Great find though iifold.

    Mlb.com is the best place i have found for umpire listings. They have them up 1 or 2 hours before game time.

    Home plate ump for first game of a series starts getting posted about 45 minutes before gametime at public sites. You can get it earlier than that at line service sites.
