Mankind is characterized by countless imbalances. Homosexuality is just one of them. It is, in my view, more constructive to focus on our own imbalances and try to correct them, than to focus on the imbalances of others. When people change themselves those around them take notice. 'Change yourself and you have changed thousands'. So if you wish to teach, do so by example, and not by a misplaced idea of superiority. I'd like to think that religious people of all backgrounds could at least agree that their own ignorance is a far more direct problem, to them, than the ignorance of others.
