look deeper into it....
At least 5 bookmakers talked about him. So, unless you are suggesting they all got together for a coffee and decided to make this shit up, it is all true.
Everything is confirmed by official NV Gaming Association numbers that are public for everyone to see.
They lost their shit on:

Category "other" which includes UFC, in month before WS. I think it shows a loss of $500k+

On baseball in November when the tickets were cashed in. Loss of over $10M

On SB.....record handle 158M. Casinos hold was only 0.7%, which is 1.17M. So, ALL casinos in NV combined won only 1.17M. Additionally they had to pay 0.25% tax on whole 158M handle. Leaving them with only about 700k in profit on SB. This figure also includes future bets. If only SB game itself was calculated they would prob be in minus. Many books reported huge loses and some reported barely breaking even(only because they counted future bets). Caesars, the only book that did not report taking any of his action, reported a Million $ win on SB. That means that ALL other NV books lost on SB

Also, people don't know how to read....so that 6M figure on SB is wrong. If you read main espn article you will see that he PUT DOWN 6M. Odds were anywhere from +155 to +180.
If he PUT DOWN 6M at 155 he would have won 9.3M.
Espn story also does not include additional 1M at WilliamHill (they only mention 1M. But he had TWO 1M bets at WillHill). It also does not include all reported SouthPoint bets.
If you include additional 1M at WH and little extra at SouthPoint....that would be around 7.5 down.......to win at least 11.6M.
Important to know is that he wanted to put down 10M. Reported before the SB, and confirmed few days ago by Jay Rood(MGM) in live interview on visn. (great stuff. I will try to find it and post audio link.....he says guy came in on Monday after playoffs and wanted to put down 10M.....after serious consideration MGM decided to only take 3M.)
He got at least 7.5M down. This is confirmed. Did he get additional 2.5 down? Nothing directly reported but....
Stations Casino, that reported taking his action on UFC and WS, did not specifically report any of his SB action....but David Purdum(espn) wrote article in which he says he was watching SB with Stations head Bookmaker and.....bookmaker told him....that well known customer put down a big bet on a bad number on Eagles. Very likely this is Bettor X.
So.....guy won at least 11.6M on SB alone. Likely, a few million more.

I followed this story closely......and all this is documented online from respectable journalists with different sources and confirmed by bookies and most importantly by actual betting numbers by state of Nevada.

All the books know the guy. It is against the law to reveal his name. It would be like a bank revealing a customers name or a big stock trading company revealing that some random customer bought millions in stock.
That is private info and they could get sued coz there is actual law in nevada forbidding this. Also it would be bad for business if casinos went around and revealed names of wealthy people or celebrities who gamble.
