The first time you plan on spending your profits on a wager, only to see your team lose a four-run lead in the ninth, you think to yourself, 'This is the worst thing in the world. This has never happened before.' Eventually, you learn how to deal with everything that comes your way — losing games you think you've won, winning games you think you've lost. For many of us, nothing much that happens in sports is shocking.
