Good lesson for newbie gamblers on SBR- RAGE TILT ALERT- BennyBignuts

Did something today that I always preach to never do in betting, I flip-flopped. And it cost me BIG.

Had a shit day yesterday. I went 1-2, but got buried with a huge bet on the Dodgers.

Woke up today looking at the MLB and NHL action, didn't like the MLB so I passed, but I loved the Rangers in NHL +130.
They hadn't played in 4 days, the Caps have struggled so far, and Lundquist shut them out the last couple games in those playoffs last year. It made sense to like this plus money.
I also liked the under between these 2 bad offenses, but the juice was -135 on it and I will never lay juice like that on a total in any sport.

Ok, so Rangers is the play today.

    Or is it?

Talked about it in the SBR poker tourney with ra77er (He ends up pounding the Rangers), and with a few buddies texting.
Got a text from another buddy who is die hard hockey guy and hadn't sent me a losing game he liked yet this season.
I too have been hot in hockey, but I am not as educated in the game as he is, I respect his knowledge and he beats em in pucks every year.
Well I call him up, we shoot the shit about MLB, and after a 15 minutes conversation on the phone I'm somehow betting the OTHER SIDE of the Ranger game.
    WTF?

My theories on flip-flopping is obviously NEVER do it. It's OK to like a game, then decide to pass on it, but don't ever go on the other side. That's a fkn jerkoff move. Grade school mistake.
I just had such a bad feeling after yesterday(my second loser after the Dodgers was blowing a 2-0 lead in the Coyote game and losing 4-3 on OT- fkkkk me), I went with his insights/instincts over mine.

I remember a thread with tatddy in May talking about taking a month off with MLB, which I could never imagine. I am definitely gonna take a week off and clear my head.

I am posting this because I want the pieces of shit like Crusty and Smoke to enjoy their night a little more, knowing how bad mine went.
I like to give the broke scum a little nugget to work with once in a while.
But unlike them, a couple bad days could never break me.

But also, this should remind ppl running bad to not let a bad day/week/month break you.
Back in my teen years I'd be looking to bet on a fukkin ping pong match in Japan for my bankroll right now.
I didn't even lose a BIG bet tonight for me to be so mad, just did something you should never do in sports, second guess your own plays.

I feel like taking a few dimes to the casino right now and betting it on RED in roulette.
    Absolute rage mode for me.
    I won't do it though.
Got the woman on the way over, gonna give her a nice rage-plowing session, then hit a bar up for a few drinks and focus on relaxing and clearing my mind.

    Goooseeeeeeefrabbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Rules to remember in gambling:

1.Never let ppl talk you out of your plays.
    2.Never tilt- discipline is everything.
    3. Never chase- That's how you end up a troll: broke and out of action.

I let the first one happen today.
Need to take a week off so I can keep the other steps from following.

    BOL this week boys.
