Yeah, wacked. It was a show on CBS called the NFL Today. Musberger and Jimmy the Greek made betting "public"so to speak. You should read about it or better yet, there was a ESPN 30 for 30 on Jimmy the Greek. I loved watching Brent and the Greek with Phyllis George and Irv Cross. BTW, I was a kid at the time, but it got my betting juices flowing. Anyone under 40 would be interested in it if they didn't know about it. There was no internet,cable, or place to bet. I used to get those football tickets from my grandfather. you pick 4 out of 4 and get 10-1 odds; my introduction to gambling.
