Exceptional point. He didn't roll it off the front foot or when his weight was on the back. Everybody who ever successfully uses a version of the cross-armed defense knows it is a transition tool. Interestingly, Paulie Malignaggi made the same error, and with his long neck, got peppered. Armstrong used it off the front foot, while Floyd prefers to use the back foot.
Those who do neither give up the rotational advantages of the position, and I don't factor that in as an advantage in making my picks with those guys.
