Michigan looked good as they won essentially two home games to get to the Sweet 16 then got away with murder against KU who blew the 14 point lead. KU was up 8 with 1:10 to go, then committed countless mental misques and got Michigan in to the Elite 8, so the line is a bit skewed to the public in their favor IMO.

On the other hand, SEC regular season champ Florida coasted, sleepwalked through the last 15 minutes, up by 18 wound up winning by 12.

Michigan is small up front, their only decent big is foul prone though excellent big-bulky-nimble freshman McGary, whereas Florida rotates 4 decent bigs Murphy, Young, Prather and Yequett. KU exploited Michgan's lack of size then mysteriously quit working the front line the last 10 miutes or so of the game. Florida's guards Rosario and Boynton are supurb, and Wilbekin does a solid job. The whole Florida rotation ALL swarm on "D" with intensity; they have very versatile athletes that can cover multiple positions.

Michigan played most of it's starters the entire game, and OT might affect them today. Burke is outstanding but I cannot see him hitting clutch 3's from 6-7-8 feet past the line another game. They will be all over him. The Michigan lineup is fraught with freshmen, 5 in their rotation, wheras Florida is loaded with junior and seniors who were in this Elite 8 game last yr, too... Louisville squeaked by them in the end.

The SEC has had a lot of NCAA Champs in the last several yrs. The Big 10 has not looked so hot lately, have they? Indy-Michigan State-OSU just went down.

Florida with a veteran coach, top notch "D", deep bigs, deep guards that are versatile and can hit those key 3's. Only laying 2.5 pts. SEC Champ dozed off a few games over the yr, peeking ahead to the Big Dance. They coasted after taking control of the FGCU game, but will leave nothing on the court against Michigan to get to The Final Four.

Florida - 2.5, 6* NCAA Tournament GOY.
