yeah couldnt believe he went off at 9-2..
I usually cap this way.. Its pretty much brick and mortar but it works for me. It changes track to track race but in order of importance for me

1. I look at how horse finishes in previous races, I usually go back 4-5 races and usually will throw out 1.
2. Changing distances This is big for me.
3. Class Drop Another big factor for me
4. Race profile--- looking for a closer with a bunch of speed/ or the other way around
5. Surfaces
6. workouts and honestly i dont look at this much besides first time starters.
7. Horse just getting to new track or if sucess there.
8.Weather/mud
9. weird overlays and underlays if i am not in a pick 3 or 4 situation.
10. will look at others picks and see if i missed something or not seeing something.
and last sometimes i just go off how i watch a horse run before or get that feeling
Honestly I almost never look at jockeys unless their is a weird change. I also don't look at trainers much. I know this is a big factor by most people but I just never have been a big fan of this. Unless it is something that sticks out.
