RG3 might be a superstar, and if the Redskins were a QB away from being competitive, this would be the right move. However, an aging team that's been in the cellar for something like 8 of the last 10 years is going to be crippled by this move. The Rams clearly got the better end of this.

I think this move will result in Griffin's best case scenario as REALLY being the next Mike Vick (not including personal life), an electrifying superstar who struggles to get into the playoffs, and stands no chance to get to the Super bowl because he has no team.

After the Haynesworth and McNabb debacles, I don't see how they think they can afford another huge gamble.
