    Monday Night

    Note: The Jets and Patriots meet in Foxboro Monday night with New England looking to avenge a 14-points loss they suffered earlier this season in New York.

    However, the Flyboys enter tonight 13-5 SU and 15-3 ATS mark as division road dogs when .500 or greater, including 10-1 ATS off a SU win.

    In addition, New York boasts a 5-0 ATS log as Monday dogs of less than 8 points. The clincher is Jet's head coach Rex Ryan's brilliant 6-0 ATS mark as a dog of less than six points in his NFL carer - with every game a straight up win! Furthermore, in games played between seven common opponents this season, New York holds a commanding 103 net YPG edge. And finally, in spite of Bill Belichick’s gaudy numbers, he has he has managed to cover the number once in 10 tries against .800 or greater teams off back-to-back wins from Game Five out in his NFL career.

    Side with the defensive dog (Jets’ third-ranked defense is 106 YPG superior to New England’s 32nd and worst rated stop unit) in this Monday night affair.

    I recommend a 3-unit play on the NY Jets +4

    Just curious.... why do people look at yardage when evaluating a defense? Isn't ppg much more telling?

    Nice write up Manicart, I think Brady and the patriots offense are on a roll and cant be stopped at this time. Ill be taking the Patriots -4. That said, Ill be tailing you this weekend, you did a great job on Saturday and hope we can roll again.

    I am glad to see you are on the Jets as well: points to remember

    1. Patriots have an awful young secondary that give up big plays
    2. Steelers game where Brady shined happened to be a perfect match up for Brady as Steelers crush the run but suck against the pass. Jets have a great secondary and can put pressure on Brady.....
    3. Jets can also pound the ball with 2 fresh RB's and now Holmes to throw to for this game...

    When Bodog put this out at 4.5 - I snapped it up for 4 unit play to win $400

    also - do you keep track of your record ytd ?

    This is a really tough game and everyone has good write ups. I am taking the Pats just because they are home. I know this is not the greatest logic but I expect a close game and will probably take the under as a teaser.
