Philip Rivers may be overrated, his Fantasy football points was awful against the Colts.

While I agree that Vick is overrated, his best passing games have come vs. weak defenses and he is now facing the worst secondary in the NFL. I just don;t see the Houston defense stopping the Philly offense at all here.

Maybe Im crazy, but 10 points is plenty in this game. I could be wrong. im already locked in. Feel pretty confortable with the 10, also took over 52.

Most overrated QB's of all-time = Dan Marino and Brett Favre

QB that never gets mentioned with the all-time greats but has had an incredible career = Tom Brady

Brady is the best QB since Montana & Young.

Not even close. Did you just start watching football ten years ago?

The most over rated QB ever is Joe Namath.

The thing that is lost in talking about Vick is in how to defense him.
I think Houston, if they are disciplined enough in gap control in their pass rush, can give him fits.
It comes down to coaching. I knew the Bears team D speed + discipline was good enough to compete (I really didn't think they'd win, though), I think Houston has enough speed in their front 4 to make it interesting IN THEORY. Of course, if Vick runs all over the joint, then I'm wrong... But Vick, as a passer, is still a LONG way behind the top 15+ QBs in the NFL. He doesn't read a whole lot of D - and if you contain his legs, you will beat him.
That's the blueprint that's worked on him in the past and worked last Sunday.

Yeh I watched him play did you? he was not the starter a few games. Rating doesn't tell the whole story. His stats are behind a lot of the qbs who actually started all the games! Check it again bro.

7 games homie, not even half a season

check out his career passer rating of around 75, Tim Couch territory

those numbers are from 3 years ago

he is not even remotely the same player anymore. He is a great passer with great awareness who goes through all his reads and only runs when it's a last resort (complete opposite of when he was in Atlanta, where he was a run first QB who was a terrible thrower)

his accuracy and vision as a QB now are just fantastic. He put up a 94 QB rating and 380 yards by himself against a defense that gives up 290 yards of offense per game on the entire season with an average of 66 QB rating

the houston defense is the worst in the entire league. Eagles win this 45 - 24, Vick will have at least 5 TDs by himself

You wont be saying this when Vick and the Eagles bounce the Falcons from the playoffs.

That certainly is a chance. I will not deny that. But if it comes to that in the dome we will have the home field ad. It will be a good one. We still have a lot of Vick fans in atlanta. so the dome will be crazy if that happens.

    I'm watching for Asante Samuel

this philly defense is horrible when Samuel is not playing (you saw how jay Cutler shred that defense last week and Matt Schaub is a lot better than Jay Cutler)

no Asante Samuel - Eagles 38-31. Asante Samuel plays - Eagles 45-24

Vick can't hit the broad side of a doghouse >20 yards away

he got lucky vs giants last week but seriously this guy stands no chance against playoff caliber defense

Andy Reid would be smart to bench Vick for playoffs & preserve offseason trade value rather than expose him & lose badly

Vick cant spell doghouse either. In atlanta he was not allowed to change plays at the line. Too dumb. Not sure now, looks like their letting him call plays. Setting themselves up for disaster.

Eagles defense is as bad if not worse than Houston's

that mean's there's good chance Vick makes some ill-advised passes if Houston scores first & often

Texas is giving up 420 yards per game on defense
Eagles are giving up 310 yards per game

Because he didn't have to do much. Had no TD's. The Charger Defense set the pace of that game, and the Chargers running game took most of the clock.

Rivers is the lead runner for MVP.
