The linebacker position in this year's draft just got a little thinner. James Laurinaitis, Ohio State's All-American middle linebacker announced that he won't be turning pro, instead returning to OSU for his senior season, according to Doug Lesmerises of Cleveland.com. Laurinaitis was expected to be the top linebacker taken in the draft.

Maybe he realized his stock dropped some after that lackluster performance against LSU.

I beg to differ. He had 18 tackles that game. He seemed to be in every play. I had him around a 20th draft pick, but after that game he is likely to go 10-15 pick overall. Not sure why he isn't leaving. After seeing what happened to Oklahoma's QB a few years ago (White), I would leave automatically knowing I was going first round.
