Tampa Bay trades for Michael Bennett today

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired seventh-year veteran tailback Michael Bennett from the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs received undisclosed draft picks in 2008 and 2009 based on performance criteria.

Bennett was over-rated in MN and was worthless in KC. He won't do anything for TB.

"performance criteria" helps this trade. Tampa Bay is trying to make up for losing two starting running backs....Can only get so much from the AFC offensively..No NFC team was going to help even with scrubs!

Tampa accually has a chance to make and compete in the playoffs. Their defense is strong and they have a QB that can help them win instead of hurt them.

They got the best they could....even if it's not much!

Garcia is playing well. Another slight add to the Bucs running game.

I will take the Bucs +2

I think thats a good pick up for a team with no back. Its very difficult to trade in the NFL so to get someone who you can start is not bad. If he sucks the picks won't be that high.
