I have studied this game, and I think people are overlooking Carolina.
They are 4-0 ATS L4 at home as 1-2 pt underdogs, 6-1 ATS vs NFC West at home L7.
Conversely, Rams are 2-3 L5 as away favorites of 1-2, 3-4 ATS vs. NFC South away L7.
Some of that was the 'old' Rams, which weren't that great, I know. But numbers and trends have a way of persisting, no matter the players, and this early on, all I can go on.
All that being said, the Rams are really good (and even better now with Clay Mathews and Eric Weddle on defense).
Hard to really say about the point spread, although as I said in the title, seems the Public is on the Rams.
The Rams are the 'sexy' team here, but I can't discount the will and determination of Cam Newton and Co., I see them winning a close one.
