I've never been a big forum guy but I've been able to put in more time/work this season so thought I'd share what I've uncovered!
DENVER TEAM TOTAL UNDER 24 - Peyton's decline started in the back half of last season. We're just starting to hear mainstream media talk openly about his struggling play. For the 31st efficient offense, and a team that didn't score an offensive touchdown last week in Oakland, this is too high.
MINNESOTA (-4) - Personally laid -3-119 with Pinnacle Sunday night. You gotta question where KC's mindset is at after falling to 1-4, losing Charles and practically ending their postseason hopes at the same time. The fact that Vikings went into their bye off a loss is a positive in my eyes. I think reality sets in for the Chiefs and come out flat as a pancake.
DETROIT (-3) - Last week's Look Ahead line had the Lions -6.5. This 3.5 point adjustment is not warranted just because of last week's results. Detroit was actually leading 7-0 after the 1st quarter vs ARZ until Stafford imploded. This games at home against a divisional rival, I expect them to get their first win.
MIAMI (+2.5)- Strictly a play based on new coach Dan Campbell's shift in philosophy. Miami gets a big boost having some key role players back this week:
- LT Branden Albert
- CB Brent Grimes
- TE Dion Sims
Dolphins will come inspired and looking to prove to ownership that Philbin was the problem, not the players.
NY GIANTS (+4.5) and UNDER 49.5 - Giants are still a little undervalued in the market even after their 3rd straight win. Eagles are still getting respect from oddsmakers here laying above the fg, implying they are 1 point better than New York. I respectfully beg to differ as even when Philly has won this year, they benefitted from +4 turnovers each game and special team/defensive touchdowns. Bradford is not the real deal. I don't see Philly scoring much and strongly agree with the move last night on the total Under 50-105 to Under 49-108 currently at Pinnacle.
The last 5 games at Lincoln Financial between Giants/Eagles have averaged 34.8 points.
Good luck if you get down!
