Everyone says it will be a close game.. you know what that means.

After all the computer sims, stat crunching, linesmaking, punditry,
drama, badmouthing, and anticipation of a tight, one-score, down
to the last drive game, which is they are all saying (add Boomer Esiason
to the list, just heard him on the radio, he picked Seattle vs NE in superbowl
at beginning of season, says Pats will win 23-20).
the game is supposed to see grind-out possessions, critical drives,
    and lead changes galore.. BUT......

they are all going to be wrong.

    John Andersen, "SportsCenter" anchor
    Seahawks 28, Patriots 17 -- Russell Wilson.

Tedy Bruschi, "NFL Live" analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion
Patriots 23, Seahawks 20 -- Stephen Gostkowski joins Adam Vinatieri in history, kicking the game-winning field goal for the Patriots as time expires.

Frank Caliendo, comedian/impersonator and "Sunday NFL Countdown" contributor
Patriots 24, Seahawks 18 -- I think the Patriots will score six more points than the Seahawks' 18.

Cris Carter, Pro Football Hall of Famer and "Sunday NFL Countdown" analyst
    Seahawks 23, Patriots 20 -- Turnovers.

Ryan Clark, guest NFL analyst and Super Bowl champion
Patriots 27, Seahawks 21 -- New England's defense is able to counter the Seahawks' run game because of Browner and Revis.

Colin Cowherd, Seattle native and host, ESPN Radio's "The Herd"
Patriots 27, Seahawks 16 -- The Patriots' defense repeatedly keeps the Seahawks out of the end zone. Seattle settles for field goals and a Super Bowl appearance, instead of back-to-back wins.

    Jay Crawford, "SportsCenter" anchor
Patriots 27, Seahawks 24 -- This game means as much to the Belichick-Brady legacy as any they have played, and they know that.

    Lindsay Czarniak, "SportsCenter" anchor
Seahawks 24, Patriots 17 -- A fitting ending for Marshawn Lynch to be named MVP.

Mike Ditka, Pro Football Hall of Famer, Super Bowl-winning coach and "Sunday NFL Countdown" analyst
Patriots 24, Seahawks 17 -- I just think there's more balance there. It's not just Tom Brady.

Mike Golic, co-host of ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike"
Seahawks 27, Patriots 21 -- Like last year, Seattle's defense is too smothering, even for the multifaceted Patriots offense.

Mike Greenberg, co-host of ESPN Radio's "Mike & Mike"
Seahawks 23, Patriots 16 -- One of the great defenses of all time -- and Marshawn Lynch.

Merril Hoge, "NFL Live" and "NFL Matchup" analyst
Patriots 28, Seahawks 13 -- It may be the first time in Super Bowl history that a team can transform itself in two weeks. The changes on both sides of the ball that the Patriots can make are the difference.

Ray Lewis, "Sunday NFL Countdown" analyst and two-time Super Bowl champion
Seahawks 34, Patriots 17 -- With a win, this Seattle defense has the chance to go down as one of the best in history.

    Chris Mortensen, Senior NFL analyst
Patriots 20, Seahawks 16 -- The Patriots will have more answers for the Seahawks' offense, while LeGarrette Blount will present problems for Seattle. Still a pick 'em game.

Ryen Russillo, co-host of ESPN Radio's "SVP & Russillo"
    Patriots 24, Seahawks 17 -- I have no idea.

    Adam Schefter, NFL Insider
Patriots 24, Seahawks 21 -- New England deflates Seattle's hopes of repeating.

Mark Schlereth, "NFL Live" analyst and three-time Super Bowl champion
Patriots 27, Seahawks 23 -- The Patriots control the middle of the field with Blount, Edelman and Gronk.

    Hannah Storm, "SportsCenter" anchor
Seahawks 21, Patriots 14 -- Top to bottom, the Seahawks' defense is the best in the NFL. We've seen that wins titles, and Russell Wilson is unlike any quarterback the Patriots have faced this season.

Mike Tirico, "Monday Night Football" play-by-play commentator
Patriots 23, Seahawks 19 -- I truly have no earthly idea why. Every time I try to break the game down, I'm convinced of a different outcome. Expecting a great game.

Scott Van Pelt, "SportsCenter" anchor and co-host of ESPN Radio's "SVP & Russillo"
Seahawks 23, Patriots 20 -- Always take defense, and my guess is Seattle got rid of its bad game.

Trey Wingo, "NFL Live" and "NFL PrimeTime" host
Patriots 28, Seahawks 24 -- Injuries to the Legion of Boom and Blount force trauma.

Hank Goldberg - Patriots by 7-12 pts (video)

Boomer Esiason Patriots 23, Seahawks 20

Madden 2015: Patriots 28, Seahawks 24 (actually has a great track record)

You will notice that most ex players are picking Seattle..while non player radio whores...are picking New England...its quite amusing to see the difference in perception between the two camps..ex players know Seattle is the better team...but the fan boys who whore for ESPN prefer the PATS...because they are in love with Brady...rather comical....

I like Merril Hoge's pick.. Pats by 15..
and the fact that both Mike & Mike on ESPN morning radio are on the Sludgehawks.
Wouly rly be worried if those two blabberheads were on Patriots.
