This is an interesting, but probably mostly useless fact:
You guys have heard the whole thing about DET QB Matt Stafford's horrible career record versus teams that end up with winning records, right? Before this season, he was 1-23 (.042) against teams that have gone above .500.
Well, Week 17 had a couple implications for this record. Before the final weekend, he beat the Cowboys (on last second TD), split with the Packers (but lost vs. Aaron Rodgers), and swept the Bears. So it didn't look good for these teams--especially the Bears--though the Packers and Bears played each other.
And surprise surprise, the Cowboys and Bears lost, so after this season Stafford's career record now moved to 2-27 (.069, "improved") against teams that finished BETTER than .500 (though, again, his new win was against a A-Rod-less Packers team that went 2-4-1 w/o him and was BARELY above .500 if not for their tie game).
