NFL Week 11 point spread update – Lines move in direction of Falcons, Steelers, Packers from Linemakers Sporting news
Colts (-3, 42) at Titans
The first line we saw on this key AFC South clash was Indianapolis -2.5 (-120) at the LVH SuperBook. While the South Point bounced between 2.5 and 3 (the South Point never veers from the standard -110 vig), all shops were at the key number as of this posting, with juice on the favorite ranging from even to -110.
alcons (-1.5, 43.5) at Bucs
Tampa opened a 1-point favorite at William Hill, while the LVH made the game a pick ‘em. The Bucs got their firstwin of the season Monday night against Miami, but Atlanta has become Sunday's favorite across Las Vegas. The Falcons are laying 2 at the LVH.
Jets at Bills (-1.5, 41)
A fairly even split here among Vegas books between 1 and 1.5 for this divisional game. The LVH opened Buffalo -1 and moved to -1.5, while South Point went the other way, from -1.5 to -1.
Lions (-2, 48) at Steelers MY PICK Lions (-2]
Pittsburgh money showed up early, grabbing the +3s a few bets shops originally hung. While the LVH moved from an opening of Detroit -3 (even) all the way down the ladder to -1.5, most boards were flashing either 2 or 2.5 as of Wednesday morning.
Redskins at Eagles (-3.5, 52.5)
This number has stuck at its opener throughout town. Some books have 53 for the total.
Chargers (-1.5, 45.5) at Dolphins
The LVH and William Hill both opened San Diego -1, but reopened the game 1.5 after Miami’s loss in Tampa Monday night.
Ravens at Bears (-3, 46.5)
Looks like Josh McCown will be Chicago’s quarterback this week, as Jay Cutler nurses an ankle injury. The LVH opened Chicago -2.5, moved to -3 on Monday, but was back to -2.5 on Tuesday. Most shops are right on the key number.
Browns at Bengals (-6, 42)
This is pretty much the unanimous number around Vegas. The Wynn opened Cincy -6.5 and moved down, while a few 5.5s popped up during the week.
Raiders at Texans (-7/-120, 42.5)
Early lines of Houston -7 were tweaked to -7 (-120). The South Point hasn’t moved off the key number.
Cardinals (-7, 41.5) at Jaguars
This line sat between Arizona -6.5 and -7 as of this posting. The LVH moved from an opening price of Cardinals -6.5 to -7.
Chiefs at Broncos (-8, 49)
Can you feel the anticipation?!?! The LVH opened Denver -8.5, took the game off the board with Peyton Manning’s health a bit of a question mark, and reopened at 8 on Monday (Manning is expected to play). The SuperBook moved to 7.5 for about a day, but was back to 8 on Tuesday. MGM Resorts and Stations Casinos were dealing 8.5 midweek.
Vikings at Seahawks (-13, 45.5)
The LVH was bet up from Seattle -13 to -13.5 on Monday, but moved down to -12.5 Wednesday morning. Most shops have 13 as the line here.
49ers at Saints (-2.5/-120)
Here’s another top-flight NFL contest. New Orleans opened -2.5 (-120) at the LVH Sunday, before their easy win over Dallas later that evening. The game reopened -3 (even) at the SuperBook on Monday and toggled between that and -3 (-110). Plenty of shops are dealing Saints -3 (-120). The South Point has bounced between 3 and 3.5.
Packers at Giants (-6, 42.5)
Scott Tolzien at quarterback hasn't scared bettors away from taking the points with the underdog Packers, as opening numbers of 7s and 6.5s have been bet down to 6s.
Patriots at Panthers (-2.5/-120, 46)
Carolina passed what many believe was its first real test of the season last Sunday in San Francisco. Another one awaits Monday night. The LVH moved Carolina from -2.5 flat to -2.5 (-120), and William Hill sat at -3 (even) as of this posting after opening -3.
