    Bryant Gumbel and Cris Collinsworth.

Gumbel dont understand what turnover on downs means. He keeps saying it, on 4th down.

Gumbel also asked why fans get excited when their coach challenges the call on the field. Well let me guess.....It gives them hope to have a better result to the play? I dont know.

Bryant isn't a sports guy he is a geek. His brother Greg was pretty good.

I don't have the NFL network but I can imagine it's bad..

Gumbel= got that job because it was a prize in his crackerjack box.

Why the NFL hire this guy for broadcasting it's games is beyond me. I guess he's got that "Matt Millen" type quality that lets him stick around.

Until Time Warner took off NFL Network, it was great. Don't let Gumbel's dumbass fool you. NFL 24/7, plus they show a lot of the games from the prior week. Great for capping the upcoming week.

I think the NFL Network is a spectacular product.

The story behind the story of Why-Bryant-Gumbel must be pretty interesting, because he's absolutely dreadful, and the people running that network do not have a tin ear about anything.

Thats why I listen to westwood ones coverage of the football games. That way I don't have to listen to Gumby's sorry ass.

Was that the venerable Dick Enberg calling it tonight for Westwood, BBD? I was in the car for about 3 minutes and looking for the game, and it actually came in more clearly on WLW in Cinci -- but I thought I heard ol' Dick on the call as I spun the dial.

    Stats?

What's the stat on a "rookie" who hits his 30th post while losing an NFL/NCAAF 2-team parlay on Thursday night on the last day of November when coming off a losing previous Thanksgiving weekend that is preceded by a winning "NCAAF totals" weekend, who posts his losing NFL play but does not post his winning NCAAF play?

You guys are right Gumball sucks but I still rank him better than Phil Simms. This guy makes even my winning plays unwatchable.

Gotta disagree with your RW...Gumball does suck, but Simms is one of the best analysts on TV.

    RW,

Reasonable people can agree to disagree. My 22 year old son doesn't like Simms either.

Simms talks a lot. So does Madden and Aikman. I like all three. Simms knows the game and knows his stuff.

Oh sure... You were the one that told me that you would rather watch a monkey fvcking a football instead of that that guy broadcasting a game.
