The season is fast coming to an end and while most attention should be on the Pats and their ever-dominant team, it has to be said that Ray Lewis is grabbing the attention for all the right reasons.

His illustrious career is coming to an end, but does he have one more fight left in him after this weekend? Let's have a look:

Baltimore

Yes it's coming to an end, Ray Lewis has been a huge figure in Maryland football, and will take fans a while to get over him not being there on the field next year. His passion, ability and heart will all be missed and he'll want to go out in the best possible way.

It's not even like his numbers are diminishing, like those of Troy Polamalu. He recorded well into double figures of tackles in the win at Denver and he brings the best out of his defence, notably Terrell Suggs and Ed Reed.

Key to Baltimore though has really been the offence, in which Joe Flacco has outperformed most in this post-season. He's throw 600 yards and change, 5 td's and no turnovers. Anquan Boldin is the veteran we need him to be, making clutch grabs and go well over a 100 yards against Indy. Put Flacco up against New England and his last 3 games have seen nearly 100 yards, 7 td's and 2 int's.

They must work out how to stop a juggernaut of a New England offence that devours defences, but with Flacco hitting the burners, Baltimore will be confident of hanging around enough to have a chance.

New England

Where to start here? Is it the rolling pass attack or the improved running game which has come on leaps and bounds? But then again the defence has come down from 31st to middle of the pack. That defence will have to calm down Flacco and his offence, but they know that Brady will get his boys moving down the field with relative ease.

Over the season, New England scored 557 points, amassing 6 40+ games. It shows how dangerous New England can be with a half-decent defence. Speaking of that defence, they allowed just one team to go over 20 points in the final 6 regular season games.
New England scraped the win against Baltimore last season in the playoffs, but had lost previously in a rout where Ray rice went wild.

Conclusion
I have to think that New England will get it done, their offence is just too powerful, and the defence will get stops. However, Flacco will make plays from nothing, and the spread of 8 is rather high, so i suggest that you buy up to 10, since 8 and 9 are dead money.

You'll get +10 for around 8/11. Worth it for a push.
