17 Degrees with a wind chill of 6 degrees in Denver

If you are a Bronco fan this has to make you nervous....

Peyton has never played well in this cold of weather.

Imagine if Sluggs get a good lick on him today....

BTW who is the Broncos back up QB?

I like the team better equipped to stop the run. That happens to be Mannings team. Broncos going to bruise these guys today.

i'm sure he will be wearing that under armor cold weather and being out in the cold is not going to be an issue for a couple hours.

If his offensive line protects him he will have a good game.

However the Ravens game plan needs to be to get a hit o Peyton on every play ...

even if if means taking a cheap shot or late hit if they can lay some wood on him its definitely going to have an effect in the cold weather

Joe Flacco played at Delaware so this weather is what he is used to.

    just some food for thought...

i am actually moving to colorado soon and will probably start being a broncos fan

i have no wager on this game but it will be interesting to see how Peyton does if the Ravens are physical with him in the chilly temperatures

getting hit hurts more in the cold weather and ive always considered peyton a pretty boy panzy... i like him hes a good guy but he is soft..

    Eli is 10 times tougher

    I am on the under.
I disagree with Peyton's record in cold weather.
I think this is just a myth or a talking point that people think sounds good.
I've heard it for the past 9 years & still think it's a fabricated stat.
I am tremendously worried about this under & I made it a week ago when the line was 46.5.
    I am also on the 1st 1/2 under 24.

I like to ignore what the media is promoting. They use to say Manning only played well on turf.

The media is not acknowledging the dramatic impact of the cold weather. It is much, much more than they are saying.

17 degrees and 6 wind chill factor... an old QB wearing a glove for the first time, passing a ball that is dramatically different by the laws of physics... no finger tip catches, balls being dropped, fumbles (Broncos 5th worst in NFL).

A completely different game than "on paper". This makes it closer, tighter, favors a run team (Rice and Pierce) and the
    Ravens are mentally tough IMO.

The advantage Broncos DO have is the altitude, Baltimore could fold like hell in the 2nd half with the pressure of the cold AND the altitude. Maybe first half Ravens, 2nd half Broncos.

Is the turf in Denver heated? In Green Bay they have heated turf and in the cold weather it's not as harsh when the field is 40-50 degrees. Not sure about Denver though.

I think it's the team that can stop the run that wins. Denver ranks 2nd in YPC allowed and 3rd in yards per game.

keep in mind the ravens defence played 87 snaps last week. equivalent to 5 quarters of plays. combine that with the travel and altitude. ravens defence will be spent come the 4th quarter

Combine the high number of Ravens D snaps, their age, altitude, and the short week and you got a bunch of dead birds on the field

Also Manning has been playing with a glove in recent weeks, so fuk off whoever said he's wearing a glove for the first time.
