    AP should get MVP.
Peyton gets comeback. He actually missed a whole season. AP didn't miss anything, doesn't fit my definition of comeback.

Only 2 they have beaten that will be playoff teams are Balt and Cincy, and they are barley making it in.

Aside the NYG, the Broncos had the hardest schedule coming into the season. Look it up.

that belongs to Adrian Peterson besides the MVP too.

Adrian could barely function this time last year. Knee torn to shreds. Comes back one year later and may set the single season rushing record. That doesn't qualify as comeback?

Especially if you concede that he is the most valuable player this season.

rip up your knee (that's ended many RB's career) and rush for 2000 yards the following year. Manning had a year+ to heal. However, I do see your point...def MVP.

I don't care what ESPN says they played 3 good teams this year and lost to all 3. The best team they beat was Balt in the middle of the wheels coming off of their season. OAK,SD, KC twice a year is not a tough schedule.

Good teams beat bad teams. Exactly what they are supposed to do. If you don't you lose the moniker good and are average. That being said you can argue Manning for both. Denver is not the same team without him. The same can be said for AP.

So wait the pats beat up on shit teams all year but no one says brady beats up on them.

    pats wins this year

    jags/dolphins/bills(2)/colts/jets(2)/tenny/denv/stl/houst

    lost to zona/balty/sf and sea.

so brady beat 3 playoff teams all year.

Lots of people tear up their knee and come back and play at a high level. Fukking up ur kneck/spine is career ending shit. Manning should get comeback player of the year. MVP is a tossup.

Guy has 4 neck surgeries and a pinched nerve which could have cost him not to play ever again .. Ap comes back from a torn acl late last season

    They should just split it

Clueless keyboard warriors on SBR. What else is new?

AP's numbers this season are unheard of. The first season back from an ACL injury with RB's are historically a wash. Most never return to form at all.

    AP's flirting with 2,000 yards.

I could careless who gets the award, but some of you morons have no business evaluating either player's accomplishments.

    OK, here we go again.
The operative word in MVP is 'valuable'

Would the Vikings be knocking on the door of a playoff game without AP? Hell no. With Christian under center yet!
Would Denver be 12 and 3 without Peyton? No. But they would probably be going to the playoffs with a lesser QB anyway, but they would probably wouldn't be 12-3.

AP is without a doubt the most valuable player this season, oh, one more thing, he's on the cusp of breaking the single season rushing record.

Comeback player I'd give a slight nod to Peyton, he came back from nothing last season, hell, one might say he came back from the grave.

Technically they both qualify for "comeback", but I think Peyton's is more of a comeback given that he missed a whole season, switched teams and many thought he'd never play again. Certainly Peterson recovered quickly from injury, but he was so good before he went down. It's just not really a "comeback" as I'd consider it just because he healed faster than expected.

Different injuries. The ACL didn't happen until the year. Guys comeback from torn ACLs and while it is very impressive it's not exactly rare. To be a comeback player of the year should at least miss a decent portion of the season to be in the running. No one really thought AP was done for his career, there were plenty of people who thought Manning would never play again.

A player who is going to rush for over 2,000 yards with 10+ TD's in a season on a team where he is the only player and having defense stack 8 players in the box and still averaging over 5 yards per carry with a quarterback who is terrible. Also has a chance at breaking the single season rushing record after tearing his ACL last year. Lol, yeah that's an MVP.

Who do you think is MVP Homer? Peyton Manning? Brady deserves it more than Manning does this year.

Also Manning isn't that valuable to Denver if Denver made the playoffs and won a playoff game with Tebow as their quarterback last year. Denver is an all around good team.

    This....

And people don't realize that there have been many players in the NFL to come back from the SAME surgeries that Peyton has gone through... and they are not all QBs either...

Regardless, in the end MVP and Comeback Player will be split between these 2.

Going back to this I just looked up Jags schedule this year they played a playoff team 9 out of the 16. Denver played 5 and lost to 3 of them. This tough schedule thing is just BS perpetrated by ESPN that doesn't hold up to anyone that actually examines it.

Thats just one radom team I looked up cause they are in last place. I bet many more have much tougher schedule then Denver.
