    GIANTS, BEARS: WhoYaGot???

IMO this game comes down to turnovers . . .

I believe CHI has a slight TO edge on the year, but NYG,
    I dunno, somehow I just think they prevail here . . .

Whoever's still standing from this aft', please help out here:

In my pickem pool it's NYG -2.5; any advice? My brain's fried
    from earlier 'capping . . .

Also, is there any thoughts on the over/under? I am looking forward to another high scoring game after the cincy/sd shootout. Does anyone think this will come true? I felt like a stole one today, so I might end up laying 1 unit on the over for tonights game. All thoughts appreciated.

I'm really liking the Bears quite a bit in this game myself.

bigboydan, the thing I'm concerned about re: CHI is that
they were rolling merely along, then lost to MIA, then go on
the road. It's usually a recipe for a bit of a slide when a team
that's rolling along gets the wind knocked out of their sails and then has to go out on the road . . . but then there's the
    NYG injuries . . .

I'm not worried about that one at all bro. The Bears are definately the suppior team here, and that fluke loss they had to the fish really is meaningless when you look inside the numbers IMO.

The Giants are the play as I see it, but I think I'm laying off.

To say the Bears are the superior team here is quite a stretch. The Bears are lucky to catch the Giants tonight battling the injury bug. Be that as it may, I still think both teams match up quite well. Should come down to the QB position in this one; in which case I take Manning all day long.

Should the Giants win tonight, it will prove how terribly overrated the Bears are. I would have loved to see the Giants at full strength here.

The big picture here is Grossman. He has never been a good QB on the road. Bears defense is no fluke, but their offense avg 30+ ppg is the joke of the league. Soft schedule, very soft. Beating up on the Bills, 49ers, Packers...ect means nothing. Lets not forget how the Bears struggled in Minnesota to come form behind. It won't get any easier tonight in New York.

If everyone was healthy, I think the Giants win and cover at home. With as many injuries as they have on both sides of the ball, this is a no play for me tonight. I just don't have enough faith in Grossman to play the Bears on the road...

Doc JS, I'm thinking that the NYG injuries may already have
been written into the spread . . .

Too bad neither at near full strength, maybe they'll meet again in the playoffs...
Will just watch and be thankful to have modest winning day (finally). Good luck to all brave enough to venture into beat up waters.

No action. Maybe check in on the 2nd half line.

The Bears offense looks very out of syinc tonight so far. Hower, they did get a FG just now so there is some signs of life.
