This game could be, and looks like it should be, a shootout. Look a bit closer though, and you'll think twice before going heavy on SNF.

GB have played 2 quality defensive teams so far, SF and Seattle - scoring 22 and 12 respectively. I can't really argue so much against the Texans, except that they haven't faced too many stout defences. The Jets shut Johnson down and Miami have proven they can stop the run, but not against the Texans.

All that aside, Rodgers has not his his stride, the offensive line is creaking under pressure, and JJ Watt will test it immediately tonight. On the other side, Schaub has changed from a slinger, to a game manager, moving chains, getting Foster established and then opening up the deep passes to Johnson.

I see a fired up defensive display by both sides. The Texans want to make a statement that they can shut down the 2011 MVP, and tell the world they can live with the big boys.
GB want to put the Colts debacle behind them and Hawk and Matthews on defence will be called on to get the momentum going.

Look for the Texans to win this one 24-13
