The smell of an upset is in the air in Kansas City this afternoon as the Chiefs host the Chargers.

San Diego comes into this one sporting all sorts of glowing numbers defensively. The Chargers' offense is also certainly riding high after putting up 48 points last week. We feel strongly that this is the week that the Chargers tumble off their high horse.

The Chargers' four wins have come against teams with losing records. Also San Diego’s one loss came to the offensively challenged Ravens. By the way, for those of you who might of missed it, Baltimore recently fired their offensive coordinator!

Certainly it is not San Diego’s fault that these weaker teams showed up on their schedule. However, we are simply stating that the only time they played a team with a record over .500 on the road they lost. Now of course we know that Kansas City does not qualify as having a winning record but the Chiefs had played well defensively until last week’s game against Pittsburgh.

Arrowhead Stadium traditionally has been home to one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. This will also be San Diego’s second road game in a row and they will be a little overconfident. Who can blame the Chargers for that after last week’s easy win against a bad San Francisco team? Blaming them for overconfidence or not, the fact is, that the Chargers are in a key spot for getting upset. The Chiefs are off of an embarrassing loss and San Diego has become one of the most talked about teams in the NFL. We smell an upset here!

    Play: Chiefs +5
